Let the good times roll!

Wow!  Hello February...where did you go?!  I started the month with a big change...back to work...full-time!  Most would think, "you're crazy," "how will you manage," "already?!"  Well, after 4 lovely months with my daughters, it was time to make time for my fabulous class of 25!  We have set ourselves up for total success!  Mike is home with the girls on Monday and Tuesday and my Mom is home Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!  Then, our fabulous friend, Lori, comes Friday afternoon so my mom can get back to Sequim and watches the girls until school is out!  It is not so bad leaving the house when the girls are in such good hands!  Mike loves getting this chance to be with his girls!  He has taken them on a few adventures and spent time teaching them about different muscle cars!  My mom sings to them constantly, helps them hold rattles and practice tummy time, and is teaching them to speak!  :)  Actually, the girls have gotten quite verbal with their voices and instead of just fussing, we are starting to get a glimpse of what there voice will sound like someday!  Everything is going beautifully! I wouldn't change a thing about life!  When I get home from being with my absolutely amazing class each day (I am not exaggerating, they are awesome!), I swoop the girls up in my arms and don't put them back down until bedtime!
The girls and I have a weekly date!  We go to our Twin PEPS group on Tuesday nights!  It is usually in Seattle, but totally worth the drive!  We are with 6 other sets of twins who are going through the same milestones as us!  It is fun to debrief every week, ask questions, and share stories!  The parents are amazing and the kids are adorable!  This week we hosted!  That's right...12 babies and 12 adults!  Party on!  My mom helped create a delectable spread and everyone had a blast!  Who would have thought that 24 bodies would fit in my living room!  The topic, coincidentally, was about going back to work.
As for the Garfoot Girls...they are cruising!  They smile, they giggle, and they roll from tummy to back!  They are happy little girls!  Well, not so little any more!  They are now 12 pounds and 9 pounds!  Holy Cow!!!  We have more than tripled!  They sleep through the night with the exception of one 15 minute feeding for Riley at around 2 am.  I am waiting for her to hit 10 pounds before we go for the all night push!  They love singing and dancing and especially BATH TIME!!!  They are like little dolphins in the water kicking and splashing around!  That is my favorite time of the day!
So, there you have it!  Cruise control!  I keep saying to myself..."20 years from now...what will I remember?"  It helps put everything into perspective!  Life is great!  Here are the latest pics!
Riley loves her hands!
