If the sun is out...

you will find us at the beach...

The zoo...

 The backyard...

Or the pool...

If it is raining, we will be in Everett or Bellevue at the Children's Museum!!!
Tomorrow we find out if this time next year we will be enjoying all these activities with a baby brother or a baby sister!!!  But the real question is, am I having another ginger!  :)

Blue Angels!

This year we packed a picnic and went on adventure to find the perfect spot to watch the Blue Angels! We wound our way through the central district and found a random look-out called hidden jem park!  It had a huge, flat rock under a shady tree with our name on it!  We spread out and enjoyed the Blue Angels flying directly in front of us and over our heads!

Lavender Festival 2012

Every year we make the trip to Grandma's house in Sequim for the Lavender festival!

Lavender Festival 2010...just sitting up!

Lavender Festival 2011...walking!

Lavender Festival 2012...big girls!!!

Hugs!!!  These girls are spontaneous huggers!

New tutu's!  We get one every year!

A little putt-putt!

Berry Picking!

We ventured back to Remlinger Farm...this time to pick rasberries!  We picked about 8 pounds, the girls snuck a bunch and they really enjoyed running up and down the fields!

This is a game called sister!  One girls runs about 20 yards away, turns around and yells sista!  The other one runs towards them screaming and then...

...they embrace!  Repeat in other direction.

I managed to make my first ever batch of rasberry freezer jam!!!

First boat ride!

They LOVED IT!!!  Someday, we will have a boat again!!!

Summer of swimming!

My dad has been a member of the Everett Golf and Country Club for years!  Having kids has brought his membership to a whole new level!  Now, when they gets invitations to brunches and kid activities, they invite the grandkids!  The weather has been so fantastic this summer that we have been swimming at least once a week!  The girls have been wearing their "puddle jumper" life jackets and have turned into the most confident swimmers! I am so proud of my little fishies!  In Port Ludlow, they wouldn't let go of me.  Now, they hardly remember to invite me in!  I always sit by the side of the pool and will swim if it is super hot, but they have become so independent!  They spend a little bit of time practicing with no life jackets, but they are able to kick, lay on their back, and move their arms just fine!  Check'em out:

 Ready...

Set...

Go, Morgan, GO!!!

Riley waiting patiently, Morgan not so much!

She flies through the air...

That's one happy girl!  Go Riley!

Riley practicing her windmill swimming!

Mom, look at me!!!
