Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Lot's of shamrock's and green!  I vow to dress my girls for each holiday for as long as they will let me!

Say CHEESE!

I swear my girls smile all the time...but whip out a camera, and they go stoic!  A lot of people say my girls are serious...makes me laugh every time!  So, thanks to the advice of a friend, I taught them to say cheese!

Best Friend's Forever!!

We love the triplets!  Their names are Reece, Kate, and Chase, and they are the children of my best friend, Erin and her husband, Jacob!  They are almost a year older then the girls and boy do they love them!  The triplets call the girls "Mor-ga and Ri-wee"!  They even talk about the girls when we aren't visiting!  It is fun to see our kids grow up and I get a sneak peak of the stages ahead!  I am very blessed to have a friend who has paved the road of multiples for me!  We plan on keeping our families very close over the years!

The Seattle Children's Museum!

We took a family field trip to the Children's Museum!  I hadn't been there since my days as a nanny, so I was the most excited by far!  Mike got us a membership back in September, but we were waiting for the girls to get more mobile.  We had a blast exploring the exhibits, climbing on everything, and getting to know the lay-out of the museum!  I am anticipating a lot of visits there over the years!

First and only snow!

Well, we wished for a big snow storm...just one day where we could take out the twin sled and go around the block!  It came one morning and was gone by lunch, but not before we got to go for a spin!
So much fun!

Crunching in the snow!

Morgan was loving the freedom!

A little hot cocoa in a bottle!

The snow may be gone, but we still went exploring in the front yard!

Snow angels!

Port Ludlow!

We took our first family vacation to Port Ludlow!  Mike decided that for Valentine's day he would take some vacation time and get me out of town (before I started tearing the paint off the walls of our house!)!  We packed up 2 cars...yes, with a jogging stroller and a giant dog, not to mention 2 pack n' plays, 2 high chairs, food, diapers, bottles, swim gear, and everything else, it wasn't even an option!  We are very lucky because our family has a condo that rotates between families each week!  It is a cozy loft with all you need for a relaxing getaway!  My priority...the indoor pool!  I took the girls each day for a dip...they floated in their boats and swam around with me!  Did they sleep well?  Nope!  But when you are away and no one else is bothered by the noise, who cares!  We separated the girls and Mike and I played musical bed/couch each night.  We went on daily strolls around the area and cooked lots of yummy food!  Here are some highlights!

Story time with mommy!  I live for this!

Who needs make-up on vacation!  We have a post-swim glow!

Torturing Kona!

A walk through Ludlow!  Had to find a coffee!

Chillin' in our floatie!

cold day at the beach!  Side note...I decided to kick a soccer ball for Kona while the girls and I explored the beach!  Forgot that soccer balls float and his ball started drifting off to sea...he swam after it!  I saw him drift into the distance as I am screaming at him to leave the ball and come back to shore!  The girls think I am nuts!  Kona returned to land and then turned around for one last sprint into the water!  He got his ball!  Phew, happy ending!

Playing on the lanai!

Valentine's Day

This year the girls got to go to a Sweetheart Party at Gymboree!  They had a blast climbing on the slides, singing songs, and attempting to decorate cookies!  The minute that the teacher told the kids to sit in chairs, I knew we were in for an adventure!  Our girls don't sit in chairs...let alone 2 kids, 2 chairs, and one parent attempting to help them spread frosting on a sugar cookie!  Oh well!  I slopped some goo on and sent them on their way, roaming the classroom with cookie in hand!  What a mess!  Sometimes, being outnumbered poses its challenges, but it was cute nonetheless!
