We brought Addison home 2 days after her birthday! What a dream! We had two very anxious sisters and an anxious grandma waiting patiently for us! We were greeted by a dozen balloons lining the driveway (thanks, Daddy) and we were so relieved to have the hard part behind us! Now, it was time for the fun to begin! Well, lets face it, this little bundle simply eats and sleeps, but it was still fun staring at her beautiful face and introducing her to the official Garfoot household...full of constant chaos and dancing and a dog and 2 cats wondering what on earth we just brought home! We have enough beds/swings/seats/cushions for an entire class of babies, but no one seems to want to put her down! We love baby Addison so much!
SURPRISE...we had TWIN GIRLS!!! We love them so much that we decided to add a little sister!!! Follow along on our adventures as parents to three amazing little girls!

Addison Makena Garfoot
On January 15, 2013, at 2:15 pm, we welcomed another baby girl into our family! Her name is Addison Makena! We chose the name for multiple reasons: we loved it, the twins are named after British sports car and Addison is a British sports car, is has 3 syllables, it starts with a vowel. Makena is the name of a beach in Maui that Mike and I frequented and it is also nicknamed "Big Beach". Well, Big Beach is very appropriate since Addison was 9 pounds 12 ounces when she was born and 20 inches long! She is an absolute doll! She baked for 40 full weeks, which filled all of my pregnancy dreams and more! She came out with chubby cheeks and rolls as far as the eyes could see. I got to spend 2 days bonding with her while Grandma Marilyn held down the fort at home and Mike went back and forth bringing the girls to meet their new baby sister.
Proud sisters!
Home sweet home!
Same outfit that the twins wore home!
Getting ready for baby #3!
Well, week 38 of pregnancy was when the nesting started this time around! We weren't worried...no rush! Then, my girlfriends got together and made an ABC wall for the baby room and that kicked me into high gear! That was followed by moving the changing table and crib into Addison's room and putting together a dollhouse bunk bed for the girls! Wow, do we have some lucky daughters! Needless to say...we were ready!!!
Christmas 2012
We had an entire month of fun in December! We went to the annual Santa Brunch in Everett, had a visit from the Garfoot's, had a visit from Uncle Dave, spent Christmas Eve at my Dad's, and a visit from my mom! The girls were so much fun this year...every ounce of Christmas was magical! It all started with Leroy...he is our new elf...he is very tan for an elf. The girls LOVE Leroy and each morning he was hiding in a new place! The girls saw Santa about 4 times, and never really warmed up to him, but they did ask for a Giraffe and an Elephant for Christmas! Thanks to Saint Amazon and his elves, Santa accomplished his mission and surprised the girls on Christmas morning!!!
